Allison (she/her) has been working therapeutically with individuals, groups, and families for almost 10 years. Her background includes working in a wilderness setting, outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, in-home care, academic settings, and residential treatment programs. In these environments, she has supported children, teens, adults and families to develop a strong sense of themselves, build healthier relationships, improve communication, and achieve their goals.
Allison believes that our life stories are impacted by the trauma’s we experience along the way, and the tools we use to navigate them. She is passionate about using a humanistic and individualized approach with each person she meets, humbly getting to know each individuals different identities and stories. She approaches her relationship with clients with empathy, humor, curiosity, and honesty. Allison identifies strongly as an ally for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals.
Allison finds joy through time exploring nature, spending time with friends, and intentional relaxation. She is passionate about her houseplants, creating, and connecting. Sage Behavioral Counseling is fortunate to benefit from her grounded, playful and insightful approach to working with others.
